The NLP software products submitted to the Natural Language Software Registry have been hierarchically organized, and the user can browse through this classification. The maximal depth for browsing is level 3.

Some of the products are present in distinct sections. In order to know in which sections a product is to be find, the user can submit a standard query to the Registry Database (click the item "queries" in the menu bar).

As already stated in the general information, the taxonomy we adopted is largely based on the book State of the Art in Language Technology. For the sections having a direct correlation to chapters of this book, we provide a link to those.

We are confident that we will get a still more accurate taxonomy, depending on the number and the kind of submissions we receive, and also on the base of comments on this topic, which are most welcome.
